Rehabilitation

Following knee surgery or injury, proper rehabilitation is crucial to ensuring a successful recovery. Our team of highly trained physical therapists and rehabilitation specialists will work closely with you to design a comprehensive rehabilitation program that includes targeted exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to help you regain strength, flexibility, and function in your knee.

Physical Therapy

Physical therapy plays a key role in the recovery process for many patients with knee pain or injury. Our skilled physical therapists utilize a variety of techniques and modalities to address pain, improve mobility, and restore function in the knee joint. Through individualized treatment plans, our physical therapy team will help you achieve optimal outcomes and get back to your active lifestyle.

Arthroscopy

Arthroscopy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure that allows our orthopedic surgeons to diagnose and treat a variety of knee conditions. Using a small, specialized camera called an arthroscope, our surgeons can visualize the inside of the knee joint and perform precise repairs or corrections. Arthroscopic surgery typically results in less pain, faster recovery, and smaller incisions compared to traditional open procedures.

Revision

In some cases, patients may require revision surgery to address failed or unsatisfactory results from a previous knee procedure. Our experienced orthopedic surgeons are skilled in performing revision surgeries to correct issues such as implant failure, instability, or infection. Through thorough evaluation and careful planning, our surgical team can help you achieve improved outcomes and restore function in your knee.

Knee Evaluation

A comprehensive knee evaluation is essential for accurately diagnosing the underlying cause of your knee pain or dysfunction. Our team of medical professionals will conduct a thorough physical examination, review your medical history, and recommend appropriate imaging studies or diagnostic tests to assess the health of your knee joint. With a detailed evaluation, we can develop a targeted treatment plan that addresses your specific needs.

Non-Surgical Treatment

While surgery may be necessary for some patients with knee issues, many individuals can benefit from non-surgical treatment options to manage pain and improve function. Our team offers a range of conservative treatments such as physical therapy, bracing, injections, and medication management to help alleviate symptoms and enhance quality of life. Through personalized care and guidance, we can help you explore non-surgical alternatives for your knee condition.

Rehabilitation Exercises

Rehabilitation exercises are a critical component of recovery following knee surgery or injury. Our physical therapy team will design a customized exercise program that targets strength, flexibility, and mobility in the knee joint. With guidance and support from our therapists, you can perform exercises safely and effectively to enhance your rehabilitation progress and achieve optimal outcomes.

Knee Replacement

For patients with severe arthritis or joint damage, knee replacement surgery may be recommended to relieve pain and restore function. Our board-certified orthopedic surgeons specialize in performing total and partial knee replacements using advanced techniques and implants. Through a comprehensive evaluation and individualized treatment plan, we can help you explore the option of knee replacement surgery and guide you through the recovery process.

Knee Repair

Knee repair procedures are designed to address specific issues such as ligament tears, meniscus injuries, or cartilage damage within the knee joint. Our skilled surgeons are experienced in performing arthroscopic repairs, open surgeries, and minimally invasive techniques to repair and restore function in the knee. With personalized care and attention, we can help you navigate the process of knee repair and achieve positive outcomes.

Orthopedic Consultation

An orthopedic consultation is the first step in determining the best course of treatment for your knee condition. Our experienced orthopedic specialists will conduct a thorough evaluation, review your medical history, and discuss your symptoms and goals. By establishing a clear understanding of your needs, we can recommend appropriate treatment options and guide you towards improved knee health.

Imaging Services

Accurate imaging studies are essential for diagnosing and monitoring knee conditions. Our facility offers state-of-the-art imaging services, including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans, to obtain detailed images of the knee joint. With precise imaging results, our medical team can assess the extent of damage or abnormalities in the knee and develop a targeted treatment plan tailored to your specific needs.

Pain Management

Managing pain is a key focus of our comprehensive knee care program. Our team of pain management specialists utilizes a multimodal approach to address acute and chronic pain associated with knee conditions. Through medication management, injections, physical therapy, and other modalities, we can help you achieve relief from pain and improve your quality of life.

Preoperative Care

Preparing for knee surgery requires careful preoperative planning and preparation. Our team will guide you through the preoperative process, including pre-surgical testing, medication adjustments, and lifestyle modifications. By ensuring you are physically and mentally ready for surgery, we can optimize your surgical outcomes and facilitate a smooth recovery.

Postoperative Care

Following knee surgery, our team provides comprehensive postoperative care to support your recovery and rehabilitation. From pain management and wound care to physical therapy and follow-up appointments, we are committed to guiding you through each stage of the recovery process. With attentive postoperative care, we can help you achieve successful outcomes and return to an active lifestyle.

Diagnostic Testing

Accurate diagnostic testing is essential for identifying the root cause of your knee pain or dysfunction. Our facility offers a range of diagnostic tests, such as MRI, X-rays, ultrasound, and lab work, to obtain detailed information about your knee health. Through precise diagnostic testing, we can develop a targeted treatment plan that addresses your specific condition and optimizes your outcomes.

Medication Management

Medication management is an integral part of pain control and symptom relief for many patients with knee issues. Our team of medical professionals will assess your medication needs, prescribe appropriate pain medications or anti-inflammatory drugs, and monitor your response to treatment. By managing your medications effectively, we can help you achieve improved pain relief and quality of life.

We came to Active Health for changes in our lifestyle that would improve our ability to feel more energized and move freely without the discomfort. What I'm experiencing is far greater that I imagined! My longtime knee pain is resolving and I have more energy with the supplements and treatments!! I trust Dr. Davis with my future health care more than any doctors I currently see.

I’am very pleased to have met Dr. Davis and his staff. They welcome you with a big smile, very attentive, courteous and helpful, you feel right at home. Very caring and professional, Dr. Davis is very knowledgeable he will explains very thoroughly of his findings and you will have the opportunity to ask questions, he gives his all to make you feel better and pain free as much as it’s in his hands. Awesome Dr. cares about you very well mannered, and polite. Mike is awesome too, he takes care of you, and helps you thru your therapy he means business, but at the end, it’s all good. Mike is friendly ready with any questions you may throw at him. I like the way they all communicate with one another including Dr. Davis. Right now I’m in the middle of my treatment and on my way of getting better and feeling better. So if anyone is hurting physically, this is the place to be.

Mike is the best clinic director therapist. He quarterbacks and administers all treatment. My improvement has been tremendous over the last 4+ months to include my leg, foot and arm neuropathy, neck, shoulder, upper back, lower back and upper buttocks pain, which is minimal at this time. Dr. Rob oversees my nutrition program. I have lost 41 lbs. since January 30th. Gianna is.the most.professional front desk receptionist. My whole experience has been life changing. I could barely walk into the office last December and now I feel like a revitalized man. I doubted whether I could do the simple things I use to be able to do like walk for distances over 100 yards, live without pain from head to toe. Now, I can do so much more and still improving weekly. I'm only halfway through my recovery period, but I feel 80% improved. Can't wait to see what the next 4+ months bring. I imagine it will be close to 100% improvement toward living a fully active life as I get older and better.
